Let the Hostages Go

In my dream (I don’t see myself but I hear my voice) I’m looking at this rundown white big farmhouse. I’m facing the corner where the door is and praying in tongues. The longer I pray the more intense and angry and loud my voice gets until I am shouting in tongues at this house. (in the back of my mind while I’m praying I’m thinking I need to be careful with my son, I need to really watch out for him here) and all of a sudden the door flies open and the house starts letting hostages go. They run from the house into cars that are waiting to take them to their families. I woke up and my first thought was woah that just really happened. Then I was like well thats really weird. Then I remembered how I had been thinking about my son so I started wondering if I should go check on him or if he was ok and right then he walks into my room and says hey mommy and climbs into my bed. Weird. ~ *Riley

Me, The Spy

This is one of my favorite shows, “Homeland” about the CIA. Being a “spy” in a dream can sometimes speak of our prophetic gifting.

I was riding a bicycle through London and rode past a large, gothic looking school called “The American Acadamy”. As I was riding, I suddenly found myself in Washington D.C., at the White House. I was wearing a pantsuit and looked very professional and was working for the CIA as a spy. As I was walking into the White House at some big event, the President (not Obama) was standing by the door of the White House. As I stepped through the door, I saw his hand hit some kind of trigger button. I looked to my left and a man was telling me to look for cover but I didn’t know where to go so I went down into this inclined living room and laid on the living room floor as people scrambled for cover. I laid on my stomach and put my hands over my head for some type of protection and then finally the bomb went off… only I didn’t blow up. I survived. ~Brooke

Banged up Car

I had a dream of an Indian woman driving a car but as she was driving she was hitting everything in sight and banging up the car really badly.~Brooke

Levitating Scrubs

I was at a party and I saw my friend Sarah with a guy. Sarah’s sister was talking to me about him like she didn’t trust him. The guy was kinda grubby looking. His hair was long and messed up and he was wearing scrubs with a pair of jeans. The sister said that the guy was suppose to be a doctor but neither one of us believed that from looking at him. The sister than said that the guy meditated on demons. After she said that we saw him levitate. Creepy. ~Brooke

Crashing Building

So, there was a building coming down and I, plus some unknown people, were trying to get guys out of there but we had to stop because the building was to unstable and was about to collapse. I began to hear war drums in the background.  The building  fell and when it did, I felt like I was crying, both in the dream and in bed. ~Bea

The Cambodian Snake

I was living in Cambodia and I was being paid to do people’s laundry. I had all the laundry hanging up on a line in the mountains to dry and it started raining. So I quickly reeled in the laundry but it was all wet. Then these guys pulled up in a fancy car to collect the laundry and I realized that they were drug lords and they were mad cuz their laundry was all wet. So they were going to kill me and I jumped in my car and drove away as fast as I could. Then I got to a place where the road ended and I pressed a button and my car changed into a motor scooter. Then I drove it into a building and through several rooms in the building until I came to a door that was blocked by a large, black snake with a very ugly face. And I couldn’t go any further so I shouted to this guy on the other side of the snake “I gotta get through” and he said “I know who to get” and a minute later he comes back with none other than Rhonda McMullen (one of my friend’s moms) who grabs the snake by the head and says “You will not bite people” and leaves with the snake. When she comes back I said “what did you do with the snake?” and she says she put it into the clothes dryer because the heat will kill it.~ Brenna

Woman in White

A woman in white with a sword could signify purity in battle.

I had a dream of this woman with a sword in her hand, dressed in an all white, flowing dress. She was opening the back of a c130. The opening of that door was pivotal to the battle. With the door now open, the tanks could be loaded and then flown over the battle and dropped from the sky to aid our armies fighting the battle below. In the dream the c130s had not been able to drop the tanks because the door needed to be opened. In the dream, I heard a voice say, “BE A WARRIOR”. ~Julie

The Los Angeles Neighborhood

In English, Los Angeles means “the Angels”.

This is not the first time I’ve had a dream about the city of Los Angeles. I dreamed of a dark-skinned family in L.A. and it was almost like I was watching them in a documentary film or a newscast of some sort. Over the years, the neighborhood they lived in, which was once a pleasant place to live, had started to grow dangerous. I almost had the feeling that their neighborhood was being pushed out of the city of Los Angeles but the family was intent on staying where they were at. They didn’t want to leave what was familiar. ~Brooke

Choke

*I had this dream last night. Yesterday morning I was feeling a real breakthrough with the Lord and had a powerfully significant time with Him regarding some wounded areas in my heart. I knew I was going to have a dream about it last night and wow did I. Intimidation from the enemy, anyone?

Shampoo is symbolic of a cleansing of thoughts and emotions.

In the dream I was in the shower and two large, hairy “man arms” came through my shower curtain. They were trying to switch my shampoo out for something else but I refused to let them so I yelled at them and told them to “NO!” and to “get out of here!”. The large hands grabbed my neck and started choking me very strongly. I resisted them as much as I could and then woke up. One thing to remember about dreams is the feeling that you have right after you wake up from them. That is very important to the interpretation. After the dream I was actually encouraged. I didn’t feel fear at all, just that I knew it was a sign that the Lord was up to something really big and that was why the enemy was trying to use intimidation and control. ~ Brooke

Zombies!

In my dream, the people who were zombies were family members. But they were out to destroy me. I finally destroyed them by faking death in a river til they left me alone. And then I turned around and took them out. ~Jennifer

I dreamed I was in a board room somewhere and I was meeting with a group of people about a creative project like a film we were producing. We all went outside for some reason and three or four zombies, none of whom I recognized, were coming toward us to attack us. I don’t remember feeling very much fear… it was almost a lucid dream. ~Brooke
